Meituan Upgrades AI Assistant 'Xiao Tuan' and Launches 'CatPaw' AI Agent Platform
Meituan has upgraded its local life AI assistant "Xiao Tuan" to support direct execution of tasks like ordering, ride-hailing, and booking. Additionally, the company launched "CatPaw," an enterprise-grade AI Agent platform that has already been deployed internally to support 90,000 employees. This represents a significant shift for AI assistants from simple planning and answering queries to executing real-world transactions in the Online-to-Offline (O2O) sector. It also showcases how large-scale enterprise AI Agent platforms can be integrated into daily business operations and services. The upgraded "Xiao Tuan" utilizes real-time information to complete user requests, while the "CatPaw" platform hosts over 30,000 agents running 24/7 in the cloud, even when user devices are offline. CatPaw has already been validated in real-world scenarios such as catering, beauty services, and pet hospitals.
