Lenovo Yoga 9n Leaked with NVIDIA's New RTX Spark ARM Superchip

Leaked renders and specifications reveal Lenovo's upcoming Yoga 9n 2-in-1 and Yoga Pro 9n laptops, which will be among the first to feature NVIDIA's new RTX Spark (N1X) "Superchip". This processor combines a 20-core ARM CPU and a Blackwell-architecture GPU with up to 128GB of LPDDR5X unified memory. This marks a major architectural shift for consumer AI PCs, bringing NVIDIA's powerful Blackwell GPU and unified memory architecture to the Windows on ARM ecosystem to deliver up to 1 petaflop of local AI performance. It represents a direct challenge to traditional x86 processors in high-performance thin-and-light laptops. To support the new ARM-based hardware, Microsoft is optimizing the Windows 11 task scheduler for RTX Spark's heterogeneous computing, while NVIDIA is developing N1X drivers to ensure compatibility for CUDA, DLSS, and PC gaming. The Yoga 9n features a 14-inch OLED display and a 360-degree soundbar hinge, while the larger Yoga Pro 9n offers a 15-inch screen and a six-speaker system.

## BACKGROUND

Historically, consumer Windows laptops have relied on x86 processors from Intel and AMD, while ARM-based chips were mostly used in mobile devices due to software compatibility challenges. NVIDIA's Blackwell is a next-generation GPU microarchitecture designed to accelerate AI workloads, and integrating it with an ARM CPU using unified memory allows the CPU and GPU to share the same high-speed memory pool, significantly reducing latency.
