iQIYI Greenlights 10 AIGC-Assisted Feature Films Guided by Oscar-Winner Peter Pau
Chinese streaming giant iQIYI has announced that 10 AIGC-assisted commercial film projects have officially entered the production phase to create feature-length films of over 60 minutes. These projects will be guided by Oscar-winning cinematographer Peter Pau and supported by iQIYI's professional AI film production platform, Nadou Pro. This initiative marks a significant transition of generative AI in cinema from short experimental clips to full-length commercial feature films backed by major industry players. It showcases how AI tools are being integrated into professional, mainstream filmmaking workflows rather than just serving as standalone novelties. The selected films span diverse genres including sci-fi, animation, and suspense, and will utilize Nadou Pro, which integrates major generative models like Keling and Vidu for scriptwriting, storyboarding, and video generation.
