Insta360 Delays AI Voice Assistant Feature for GO Ultra Pocket Camera
Insta360 has officially announced a delay in releasing the AI voice assistant feature for its GO Ultra pocket camera. The development team is currently working on final optimizations to ensure a more stable and complete user experience. Adding AI voice control is crucial for hands-free operation in compact action cameras, enhancing usability during active sports. This delay highlights the technical challenges of refining AI-driven voice interactions on highly portable hardware. The Insta360 GO Ultra features a 53g lightweight body, a 1/1.28-inch sensor, and a 5nm AI chip that enables 4K60fps video recording. While the AI voice assistant update was teased in late July, the company has not yet announced a new official release date.
## BACKGROUND
The Insta360 GO series focuses on ultra-portable, wearable action cameras designed for hands-free point-of-view (POV) shooting.
