Huawei Launches Next-Gen 5.5G Products with Tau Law Base Station Design
Huawei announced its next-generation mobile communication network products and solutions, including the Huawei VitaAAU base station featuring RetinaMIMO technology and Tau Law-inspired architectural design. As AI applications shift network demands from downlink-heavy to balanced uplink-downlink workloads, these new solutions aim to handle massive traffic structures and improve overall connection quality and capacity. The VitaAAU operates in the U6GHz band, supporting 256TRx, over 1,500 antenna elements, and HBF high-speed beam scanning while already beginning commercial deployment globally.
## BACKGROUND
Tau Law (Tau 定律) is an emerging concept being adopted in Huawei's high-tech system designs to optimize complex micro-systems and reduce computational latency. The U6GHz (Upper 6GHz) spectrum refers to the upper portion of the 6GHz frequency band, offering high continuous bandwidth potential for next-generation mobile communications.
