Huawei Integrates Moonshot AI's Kimi K3 Model into Xiaoyi Assistant
Huawei has updated its Xiaoyi assistant to version 11.6.6.300, integrating Moonshot AI's Kimi K3 flagship model into the "Xiaoyi Claw" agent. This update also introduces enhanced AI-driven graphic explanations for problem-solving and real-time summaries for simultaneous translation. This integration brings a powerful 2.8-trillion-parameter model directly into a mobile operating system's native assistant, significantly boosting its reasoning and productivity capabilities. It highlights the growing industry trend of embedding advanced large language models (LLMs) into system-level mobile ecosystems. Kimi K3 features a 1-million-token context window and is built on Kimi Delta Attention (KDA) and Attention Residuals technologies. The updated Xiaoyi Claw is available on devices running HarmonyOS 5.0 or higher.
## BACKGROUND
Moonshot AI's Kimi K3 is a flagship model designed for complex tasks like software engineering and deep reasoning. It utilizes Kimi Delta Attention (KDA), an expressive linear attention mechanism that improves efficiency over traditional attention, and Attention Residuals, which replace standard additive residual connections with learned softmax attention over previous layers to optimize information routing.
