Huawei Cloud Discontinues openPangu-2.0 Models by November 30
Huawei Cloud announced that its MaaS platform will stop selling the openPangu-2.0-Flash and Pro models on November 6, 2026, and officially sunset them on November 30, 2026. The company is currently planning new version models as part of its ongoing product lifecycle updates. This lifecycle update requires enterprise developers currently utilizing openPangu-2.0 services to plan migrations. Huawei Cloud recommends alternative migration paths such as DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 and GLM-5.3. After November 6, new users cannot purchase or activate the two models, though existing buyers can keep using them until complete deprecation on November 30 when all access ceases. Huawei Cloud advises users to review API parameter and performance differences before migrating.
