HTC Launches VIVE Eagle AI Smart Glasses Starting at $499

HTC has launched the VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses starting at $499 across markets in North America, Europe, and Australia. The wearable device supports real-time translation, hands-free video capture, open-ear directional audio, and smartphone integration with Google Gemini and Siri. The release adds a prominent competitor to the consumer AI smart glasses space, directly addressing long-standing public privacy concerns. Its hardware-enforced anti-tamper mechanisms for recording LEDs could set a new baseline standard for wearable cameras.
