Honor Magic9 Series Receives First 'AI Agent Phone' Network Certification in China
Honor CEO Li Jian announced that the entire Honor Magic9 smartphone series has officially received China's first network access certification designated for 'AI Agent Phones.' The flagship lineup includes the Magic9, Magic9 Pro Max, and Magic9 Super Edition, starting at a price of 4,499 yuan. This certification highlights the mobile industry's shift toward standardizing system-level AI agents that operate autonomously across mobile operating systems. It demonstrates how smartphone brands are moving beyond basic cloud-based AI tools toward deeply integrated, hardware-supported agentic intelligence. The flagship Magic9 Pro Max features a 6.8-inch display, a 200MP gimbal-grade main camera backed by Honor's custom Yuguang H1 imaging chip, and an 8,800mAh silicon-carbon Qinghai Lake blade battery. Honor stated that the certification validates years of technical development on its MagicOS system and on-device AI agent architecture.
