The platform will enforce stricter standards for character differentiation, image quality, and copyright compliance. As AI-generated human dramas boom due to low production costs, platforms are beginning to regulate the resulting low-quality, repetitive, and copyright-infringing content to prevent user fatigue. This move signals a shift toward quality control and compliance in the rapidly growing AIGC digital media sector. The new rules demand clear visual differentiation for main characters and prohibit the unauthorized use of copyrighted character designs, costumes, or artwork. Additionally, Hongguo has raised the entry barrier for genres like urban romance, requiring better frame transitions, facial expressions, and audio-video synchronization.
