iFlytek has launched its first AI glasses, designed as a lightweight (40g) smart assistant that focuses heavily on real-time translation capabilities. The device features a 12MP camera, a binocular waveguide display, and a multi-microphone system for clear audio capture. As major tech companies race to enter the AI glasses market, iFlytek leverages its established translation expertise to target practical, everyday communication and productivity use cases. This product represents a shift towards utility-focused, lightweight wearable AI hardware rather than complex, heavy AR headsets. The glasses support prescription lenses up to 600 degrees of myopia and feature five air-conduction microphones combined with one bone-conduction microphone for noise reduction.
