Google Gemini Spark Adds Natural Language Photo Management for Google Photos

Google has updated Gemini Spark to allow users to edit pictures, organize photo albums, and automate photo-related tasks in Google Photos using natural language commands. The agent can also extract details from photos, such as concert flyers, to automatically schedule Google Calendar events. This integration expands Gemini Spark's capabilities as a proactive personal AI agent that operates across connected applications in Google's ecosystem. It minimizes the manual effort required to organize photo collections and extract actionable information from images. The feature is rolling out in the coming weeks to eligible Gemini AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the United States, supporting only English at launch. Users must connect Google Photos to Gemini and enable the Spark feature within the Gemini app to receive the update.
