Geely Plans 150,000 Charging Stations and County-Wide Coverage by 2030
Geely Auto announced plans to build 150,000 charging stations featuring 600,000 charging guns to achieve county-wide coverage across China by 2030. This initiative integrates its newly launched 'Geely Intelligent Charging' technology, which supports a peak single-gun charging power of up to 2.2 megawatts. This aggressive infrastructure expansion aims to alleviate range anxiety for electric vehicle owners and support the broader adoption of new energy vehicles in China. By combining rapid network growth with advanced AI thermal management, Geely is positioning its ecosystem to handle ultra-fast charging demands safely. Geely's network expansion will rapidly scale to 4,000 intelligent charging stations by November and 6,000 by December of this year. Furthermore, the proprietary AI charging technology manages battery temperatures to stay below 65°C during high-power sessions, thereby extending battery cycle life by over 20%.

Megawatt-level supercharging piles deliver massive amounts of electrical power to significantly reduce electric vehicle charging times.
