FSP Launches U661 Dual-GPU AI Workstation Chassis
FSP has introduced the U661 chassis designed for AI workstation applications, featuring support for dual-GPU configurations and pre-installed cooling fans including three 16030 front fans and one 12025 rear fan. This release provides professionals and developers with a specialized hardware housing option capable of handling the thermal and physical demands of dual-card AI setups at a workstation level. Measuring 450×258×468 mm and built with 0.8mm SPCC steel, the chassis includes 9 expansion slots, built-in soundproofing materials, dual expansion card brackets, and broad compatibility for SSI-EEB and E-ATX motherboards.
## BACKGROUND
SPCC steel refers to commercial-quality cold-rolled steel commonly used in manufacturing structural components and enclosures due to its good formability and smooth surface finish. SSI-EEB is a server and workstation motherboard form factor that offers larger dimensions to accommodate robust enterprise-grade processors and memory configurations.
