FAW-Volkswagen's Jetta M6 all-electric sedan is scheduled for official release on October 22, with pre-sales starting at 80,800 RMB. The vehicle features the Horizon Robotics Journey 6M chip and integrates multiple AI models, including Qianwen, DeepSeek, and Doubao. This release brings advanced intelligent driving capabilities and large AI models down to the budget-friendly 80,000 RMB price segment. It highlights the fierce competition in China's EV market to democratize high-tech features through joint-venture brands. The Jetta M6 measures 4806 mm in length with a 2820 mm wheelbase and offers two battery range options of 465 km and 555 km. It supports urban and highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), cross-floor memory parking, and comes standard with a heat pump air conditioner.
