Faraday Future Unveils Nine Embodied AI Robot Configurations

Faraday Future has unveiled nine Embodied AI (EAI) robot configurations across five model lines, covering humanoid, quadruped, and wheeled-legged form factors. Pricing ranges from $9,990 for educational entry-level humanoids to $137,900 for heavy-duty industrial quadruped robots. The release reflects a growing trend of electric vehicle makers attempting to expand into the Embodied AI and robotics market. However, skepticism remains around Faraday Future's commercial viability, software capabilities, and actual hardware production readiness. The flagship humanoid robot, FF All-New Futurist Ultra ($129,900), features up to 71 degrees of freedom with dexterous hands and relies on NVIDIA Jetson Thor delivering 700 TOPS of AI compute. Industrial variants such as the FX Aegis Mega provide up to 50 kg payload capacity, 5 hours of continuous operation with hot-swappable batteries, and obstacle clearance up to 80 cm.

## BACKGROUND

Embodied AI (EAI) refers to artificial intelligence systems integrated into physical bodies, such as robots or autonomous vehicles, allowing them to perceive, learn, and interact with the physical world. Automotive and technology companies are increasingly investing in multi-form factor robotics to handle complex tasks in manufacturing, logistics, security, and research.
