Faraday Future Plans Robot Factory Operational by Year-End and 2027 AI Product

At the IROS conference, Faraday Future announced plans to put a robotics factory into operation by the end of the year and launch its first embodied AI product by Q1 2027. Additionally, AIxC (renaming to FFR) signed non-binding terms to acquire FFAI's robotics assets in an all-stock deal valued at approximately $200 million. The announcement highlights a broader trend of electric vehicle companies attempting to pivot into embodied AI and robotics. However, given Faraday Future's history of execution delays, industry observers remain skeptical about these strategic promises until functional hardware is delivered. Faraday Future is seeking conditional approval from the FCC for its robot products while building supply chain and compliance infrastructure for its Next Futurist and Next Aegis lines.
