Fal’s H3 Max Live Achieves Faster-Than-Real-Time AI Video Generation
Fal has released H3 Max Live, an optimized post-trained version of the MiniMax H3 model that generates a 5-second video in under 3 seconds of wall time. This breakthrough enables video generation speeds that outpace real-time playback. Breaking the real-time video generation barrier unlocks potential for interactive, real-time AI media streaming, dynamic gaming environments, and responsive user tools. It shifts AI video from slow offline rendering to instant, on-demand generation. H3 Max Live achieves approximately 35 times the throughput of the official MiniMax H3 endpoint and is on average 15 times faster than models of comparable quality. In human preference evaluations, it also ranked #1 across overall visual quality, prompt adherence, and aesthetics.
