Doubao's desktop productivity assistant has updated its computer operation capabilities, allowing users to record their screen actions and voice explanations to save them as reusable skills. Additionally, the tool now supports background task execution on Macs even when the screen is locked. This update significantly reduces the friction of creating AI automations by replacing complex prompt engineering with intuitive 'show-and-tell' demonstrations. Background lock-screen execution also transforms desktop AI agents from foreground assistants into autonomous workers capable of handling long-running tasks while users are away.
