DeepSeek has launched canary testing for an AI voice conversation feature in its mobile app, providing selected users with a voice readout option. The update introduces a small speaker button in the app interface along with four distinct voice options in the settings. Adding text-to-speech capabilities brings DeepSeek's user experience closer to established competitors like ChatGPT. Users included in the test will see a speaker icon in the top-right corner of the app interface.
