Deepal Motors to Launch S07 AI Lidar Edition on September 28
Deepal Motors announced that the new Deepal S07 AI Lidar Edition will officially debut on September 28, featuring an AI LiDAR perception setup paired with an extended-range powertrain. The vehicle incorporates Huawei's Qiankun ADS 4 Pro driver-assistance system, providing navigation assistance across urban streets, highways, and enclosed campuses. This launch highlights the rapid integration of Huawei's smart driving ecosystem into mainstream Chinese EVs competing in the mid-size SUV market. Combining long electric range with advanced LiDAR fusion technology allows automakers to address both range anxiety and consumer demand for high-level autonomous driving features. The S07 features a 27-sensor perception suite—including 1 LiDAR, 3 4D millimeter-wave radars, 11 HD cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors—paired with Huawei's CAS 4.0 anti-collision system. Inside, the vehicle runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8295P chip with DEEPAL OS 4.2, offering up to 300 km of CLTC pure-electric range (1,385 km combined) and 3C fast-charging support.
