Daxiao Robot and PetroChina Pilot Embodied AI in Gas Station Convenience Store
Daxiao Robot has partnered with PetroChina's Shanghai branch to launch a closed-loop embodied AI pilot program at a Kunlun Guest convenience store. The automated system handles online orders from platforms like Meituan by deploying robots to pick, transport, and pack goods directly from store shelves. This partnership marks a practical commercial deployment of embodied AI in micro-retail and instant delivery fulfillment. It also demonstrates how China's vast physical infrastructure network of over 100,000 gas stations can be converted into automated, smart retail nodes. The robots are designed to operate within narrow 75 cm aisles and reach shelves up to 2 meters high, utilizing Daxiao's proprietary hardware and world models for physical navigation. The solution manages end-to-end tasks spanning warehousing, shelf replenishment, order picking, and boxing fulfillment.
