CoreWeave Expands into India with 240MW Lease for NVIDIA Vera Rubin

CoreWeave has partnered with AdaniConneX to lease 240MW of data center capacity at the Taloja campus in Navi Mumbai, India. The company plans to establish a local presence and deploy NVIDIA's upcoming Vera Rubin platform starting in mid-2028. This expansion highlights India's growing importance as an international hub for AI workloads and compute infrastructure. It also demonstrates how AI cloud providers are securing massive power capacity years in advance to accommodate next-generation AI hardware architectures. The facility agreement comprises three 80MW buildings, with Phase 1 scheduled to launch in mid-2028 and additional capacity coming online in stages. CoreWeave also holds an option to double its footprint at the Taloja campus with an additional 240MW.
