Colorful Unveils Lingchuang Mini Pro PC with 192GB Unified Memory
Colorful has introduced the Lingchuang Mini Pro mini PC, powered by AMD's Ryzen AI Max PRO 400 series processors. The system features up to 192GB of unified memory, with up to 160GB allocatable directly as video RAM (VRAM) for local AI workloads. By packing 160GB of allocatable VRAM into a mini PC, this system enables developers and researchers to run large language models and multi-agent workflows locally without needing dedicated enterprise GPU setups. Alongside the Mini Pro, Colorful showcased the Lingchuang K16 mobile workstation featuring a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, 128GB system memory (96GB VRAM), and native support for AMD's ROCm software ecosystem.
## BACKGROUND
Unified memory architecture allows the CPU and integrated graphics processor to share the same high-bandwidth RAM pool, bypassing traditional memory bottlenecks. AMD's ROCm is an open-source GPU computing platform that enables AI frameworks to run efficiently on AMD hardware.
