China's National Supercomputing Internet Deploys Over 500 AI Agents Across 170 Computing Scenarios
China's National Supercomputing Internet platform has expanded its ecosystem to over 500 AI agents and 10,000 skills covering more than 170 core computing scenarios. Announced at the 2026 Computing Network Development Conference, the platform now features six major agent matrices, including materials computing and industrial simulation. By democratizing high-performance computing through conversational AI tools, the platform enables non-programmer researchers to easily assemble custom scientific workflows. This significantly lowers the barrier to advanced supercomputing, accelerating research and industrial R&D across China. Users can construct tailored scientific computing agents using a modular system supported by over 16,000 content components and conversational tools. Originally initiated in April 2023 under China's Ministry of Science and Technology, the platform surpassed 1 million registered users earlier this year.
