China's first AIGC-generated long-form TV series, "Post-Journey to the West" (Season 1: Flower and Fruit Mountain Chapter), is scheduled to premiere on Mango TV and Hunan TV on August 31. Produced by Mango TV's AIGC Innovative Content Center and Bojing Culture, the series is adapted from a mythological novel of the same name. This release marks a significant milestone for generative AI in mainstream media, demonstrating the feasibility of using AIGC to produce full-length television content for major networks.
