China Launches First Dedicated 5G-A SIM Card Package for Embodied AI Robots

Leju, Anhui Telecom, and Huawei have jointly launched "Jushen Yilian," China's first 5G-Advanced SIM card and network package designed specifically for embodied AI robots. Starting at 599 RMB per month, the service provides peak uplink speeds of up to 500Mbps and low-latency network optimization for robotic systems. Embodied AI robots require high-bandwidth data uplinks to continuously transmit visual and sensor feeds to cloud or edge servers for processing. This offering illustrates how telecom operators are customizing 5G-A features like network slicing to support real-time data needs and multi-robot concurrency in commercial deployments. The service is available in two main tiers: a 599 RMB plan offering 300Mbps peak uplink speed with 200GB data, and a 999 RMB plan providing 500Mbps uplink speed with 500GB data and dynamic network slicing. The network configuration guarantees 20ms latency at a 95% confidence level along with priority traffic scheduling for connected robots.
