Calibre 9.15 Released with Optional AI Interactive Writing Game

Calibre version 9.15 has been released, introducing an optional AI-driven interactive writing game called "Create your own Adventure." The update also brings usability enhancements to highlights, cover grids, and sidebar layout management. This update highlights how open-source media utilities are integrating optional generative AI tools to offer creative interactive features without cluttering the core application. It provides reading and writing enthusiasts with a novel storytelling tool integrated directly into their library manager. The AI feature is disabled by default and can be added to the toolbar via Preferences. In addition, users can now select multiple highlights to batch-edit their styles, view note tooltips on hover, and save custom sidebar window sizes.
