ByteDance's Coze Pauses New Enterprise Sales for Ecosystem Integration
ByteDance's AI development platform Coze is temporarily pausing new sales for its enterprise editions as part of a product integration and upgrade into the Doubao ecosystem. Current enterprise customers can continue using their plans until the scheduled full retirement dates through 2026 and 2027. This move highlights ByteDance's broader strategic consolidation of its office AI products, including Coze and TRAE, under the primary Doubao ecosystem. Enterprise customers will need to adapt to the new unified productivity offerings and future package options. Standard and flagship enterprise editions will stop accepting new customers starting November 30, 2026, with a complete phase-out scheduled by December 31, 2027. Older plans purchased via Volcano Engine will be completely phased out by December 31, 2026, with unused portions automatically refunded.
