BYD Announces Third-Generation Tang SUV with Giant-Screen UI and AI Pet

BYD announced that its upcoming third-generation Tang SUV will debut a new giant-screen UI interactive system featuring customizable window layouts and an interactive AI pet desktop named 'Xiao Mianbao'. The vehicle is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter. This update highlights the accelerating industry trend of integrating emotional AI companions and highly customizable software into automotive cockpits to enhance user engagement. It reflects how traditional automakers are modernizing their in-car user experiences to compete with tech giants. The vehicle features a 'Stellar Dual-Screen' setup consisting of a 35.4-inch remote interstellar ring screen and a 30-inch panoramic giant-screen display, replacing traditional instrument clusters and HUDs. It also boasts a 2950mm wheelbase, second-row seats with a 130° recline angle, and a range of up to 850km supported by fast-charging technology.
