Broadcom Launches VMware AI Factory to Simplify Private Cloud AI Deployment
Broadcom has introduced VMware AI Factory, a software-defined foundation designed to automate and accelerate the deployment of AI workloads in enterprise private cloud environments. Leveraging VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), it reduces the time required to set up AI infrastructure from weeks to just hours. This release simplifies enterprise AI adoption by pooling GPU resources across shared hardware, eliminating the need to configure dedicated servers for individual models. It enables organizations to run AI workloads securely within their private clouds while maximizing hardware utilization and efficiency. The platform features a unified model registry for managing inference and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows, built-in observability for monitoring token throughput, and compatibility with major LLMs like Gemma 4 and Qwen 3.7-Max. It also supports certified VCF AI ReadyNodes from hardware partners like Dell, Cisco, and Lenovo.
