Baidu Merges Internal AI Agent 'dodo' into 'Baidu Dazi' to Consolidate AI Office Business

Baidu has integrated its internal AI office assistant, dodo, along with its R&D team and resources, into its public-facing AI office agent platform, Baidu Dazi (DuMate). This consolidation shifts Baidu's AI office agent strategy from multi-line development to a single, unified product serving internal, personal, and enterprise needs. By combining internal testing grounds with external commercial offerings, Baidu accelerates its competitiveness in the AI-powered productivity market. This move allows enterprise users to benefit directly from features refined through Baidu's internal operations, such as code submission and knowledge base management. Baidu Dazi has integrated capabilities from other Baidu products like Baidu Search, Netdisk, and Maps, and recently topped benchmarks like PinchBench and DeepResearchBench. Following the merger, dodo's features in meeting organization, document processing, and team skill reuse will gradually transition into Baidu Dazi's enterprise version.
