AVerMedia Launches AIClear Mic A113 Industrial AI Noise-Canceling Microphone
AVerMedia has introduced the AIClear Mic (A113), an industrial-grade USB-C microphone engineered to operate in extreme temperature conditions from -25°C to +60°C. Featuring AI-powered noise reduction, the microphone is designed to improve speech recognition accuracy by over 60% in noisy edge computing environments. Deploying voice-activated systems and speech recognition in industrial edge environments is challenging due to heavy acoustic noise and harsh operating conditions. This hardware solution helps maintain reliable audio input and biometric voiceprint authentication without requiring high ambient noise isolation. The device offers driver-free plug-and-play connectivity using a single USB-C cable and includes dual 3.5mm audio jacks. It supports a storage temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and improves accuracy for both automatic speech recognition and voiceprint authentication tasks.
## BACKGROUND
Traditional noise suppression relying on acoustic filtering often struggles to separate human speech from unpredictable industrial background noise. Deep learning-based AI noise reduction processes audio signals using neural networks to filter out background noise while preserving speech clarity, which is essential for accurate voiceprint authentication and speech recognition.
