ASUS Announces ProArt GR1X Mini PC Powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark Superchip

ASUS announced that its compact ProArt GR1X mini PC, powered by the NVIDIA RTX Spark superchip, is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of 2026. Equipped with a 20-core CPU, a 6,144-core Blackwell GPU, and 128 GB of shared memory, the device delivers up to 1 Petaflop of sparse FP4 AI compute performance. This mini PC brings datacenter-grade low-precision AI performance into an ultra-small desktop form factor, making advanced local inference and personal AI agents more accessible. It demonstrates how NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture and custom superchips are compressing high-throughput AI computing into consumer and workstation mini PCs. Measuring just 150 × 150 × 51 mm, the ProArt GR1X supports PCIe Gen5/Gen4 M.2 NVMe SSDs, a 10GbE network port, MediaTek MT7925 Wi-Fi, four USB-C 20Gbps ports, and HDMI 2.1. The 1 Petaflop performance metric relies specifically on sparse FP4 numerical precision, which maximizes Tensor Core throughput while keeping memory footprints minimal.

## BACKGROUND

NVIDIA's RTX Spark is a superchip architecture designed to power personal AI workflows natively on desktop platforms.
