Arduino has opened pre-orders for its VENTUNO Q edge AI platform, priced at $299. The single-board computer is powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-8275 processor and features an STM32H5 real-time microcontroller as a co-processor. This platform provides a cost-effective, high-performance solution for developers building robotics, industrial automation, and edge AI applications. By combining Qualcomm's powerful NPU with STMicroelectronics' real-time MCU, it bridges the gap between heavy AI workloads and low-latency hardware control. The VENTUNO Q features 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, 64GB eMMC storage, an M.2 slot for PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSDs, and pre-installed Ubuntu Linux. It also boasts a 40 TOPS Hexagon NPU from the IQ-8275 chip and supports industrial interfaces like CAN-FD and MIPI CSI/DSI.
