Apple Intelligence Integrates Alibaba's Qwen for China Launch
Apple has announced a partnership with Alibaba to bring Apple Intelligence features to China, allowing Chinese users to integrate Qwen capabilities into Siri, writing tools, and visual intelligence starting this December. This development marks a major milestone for the localization of Apple's AI ecosystem in the critical Chinese market, complying with regional regulations while offering advanced AI tools to local consumers. Users can independently choose whether to enable Qwen integration, which will enter developer beta testing on November 4 before an official public release in December.
## BACKGROUND
