Anthropic Signs $35 Billion Cloud Compute Deal with Lambda
Anthropic has signed a $35 billion cloud computing agreement with Nvidia-backed cloud provider Lambda to secure AI compute capacity. Under the deal, Lambda will operate inside a Texas data center developed by Hut 8 and leased by Nvidia, deploying Nvidia GPUs to provide computing services to Anthropic. This multi-billion-dollar deal highlights the extreme demand for AI compute infrastructure and the unconventional subleasing models emerging among tech leaders.
