Anthropic's Claude Adds Greater China Payment Options and UnionPay Support
Anthropic has updated Claude's upgrade payment page to include mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, while also supporting UnionPay card payments. This update makes payment processing much more convenient for developers and users in the Greater China region. However, users should note that Anthropic's official support policies for these regions remain unchanged. Alongside the payment updates, Claude's web interface recently introduced Simplified and Traditional Chinese language options, and some users reported success in appealing previously banned accounts.
