Anthropic Lowers Claude Team Plan Minimum to Two Seats

Anthropic has reduced the minimum seat requirement for its Claude Team plan from five users down to two. This update allows smaller teams and startups to access the plan's collaborative features and administrative tools at a lower entry point. By lowering the entry barrier, Anthropic makes its collaborative AI tools more accessible and affordable for very small teams and independent developers. This allows them to utilize enterprise-grade features without paying for unused seats. The Claude Team plan includes shared projects, admin controls, centralized billing, Single Sign-On (SSO), and enterprise search. This change is a packaging and pricing adjustment rather than a technical upgrade to the underlying AI models.
