Anthropic Extends 50% Weekly Claude Code Quota Bonus to August 31

Anthropic has extended its 50% weekly usage quota bonus for Claude Code and other Claude interfaces from the original August 19 deadline to August 31. The company is also exploring options to make this quota increase a permanent plan. This extension provides developers and enterprise users with more resources to test and integrate Claude Code into their workflows without hitting usage ceilings. It also signals Anthropic's intent to offer more generous usage limits to remain competitive against other AI coding assistants. The 50% quota increase applies to Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise subscribers. Crucially, the web interface, desktop app, and Claude Code share the same quota pool, meaning switching models will not bypass the weekly limit.
