Ant Group Launches 2027 Campus Recruitment with Over 80% AI-Related Technical Roles
Ant Group has officially launched its 2027 campus recruitment campaign, where technical roles make up 80% of the total openings, and over 80% of those technical positions are AI-related. Notably, candidates are permitted to use AI tools during their written assessments, and their AI-assisted coding skills will be evaluated during interviews. This recruitment drive highlights a major shift in the tech industry, where AI proficiency is transitioning from a niche skill to a core requirement for software engineers. By actively encouraging the use of AI in assessments, Ant Group is embracing the reality of AI-assisted development in modern software engineering workflows. The recruitment targets domestic and international graduates finishing their studies between November 2026 and October 2027, offering positions across major cities like Hangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong. Additionally, Ant Group's recruitment system will automatically parse resumes to recommend matching positions, allowing unlimited submissions with up to two preferences per application.
## BACKGROUND
AI-assisted software development involves using large language models (LLMs) and AI coding assistants to help developers write, debug, and document code faster. As these tools become mainstream, tech companies are adapting their hiring processes to evaluate how effectively candidates can collaborate with AI rather than just testing traditional memorized coding skills.
