Anhui TV Becomes China's First Satellite Channel to Broadcast AI-Generated Drama Series

Anhui TV has become the first satellite television station in China to broadcast an AI-generated drama series, titled "The Legend of Taohua Pool" (桃花潭记), which premiered on July 22. The 20-episode series is the country's first all-AI drama themed around intangible cultural heritage to receive a network distribution license. This milestone marks a significant step in the commercial adoption of Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) within mainstream television broadcasting.
