Alibaba Qoder Expands Support to Linux ARM64 and LoongArch Platforms

Alibaba's AI coding assistant Qoder has officially added support for Linux ARM64 and LoongArch64 platforms, alongside domestic Chinese operating systems like UOS and Kylin. This update brings the complete agentic coding workflow—from requirement understanding to task execution—into domestic desktop environments. This localization milestone allows enterprise and individual developers in regional markets to leverage advanced AI coding agents within their native and secure domestic software ecosystems. It expands Qoder's compatibility beyond mainstream operating systems to specialized hardware and software environments. With this integration, Qoder now covers HarmonyOS PC and mobile, UOS Desktop OS V20, and Kylin Desktop OS V10. The platform continues to support multiple form factors including IDEs, CLI, and JetBrains plugins.

## BACKGROUND

LoongArch is an in-house Chinese instruction set architecture developed by Loongson that operates independently of overseas instruction set licenses. UOS and Kylin are prominent Chinese desktop operating systems widely adopted in local enterprise, government, and educational sectors for technology localization.
