Alibaba Opens Pre-Orders for Qwen AI Clip-On Earbuds Tuned by Bose

Alibaba has opened pre-orders for its new Qwen AI clip-on open-ear earbuds, featuring sound tuning optimized by Bose. The wearable supports full-scene Qwen voice controls, live recording transcription in 92 languages, and AI translation across 89 languages. The launch demonstrates how tech giants are embedding large language model (LLM) capabilities directly into wearable audio hardware. By integrating AI translation and productivity tools into everyday accessories, tech companies aim to make real-time language barrier removal and voice-based AI access effortless. The earbuds utilize a 0.5mm memory titanium wire design, IP55 dust and water resistance, and LHDC 5.0 codec support capable of up to 1Mbps transmission and 96kHz sampling rate. They offer up to 9 hours of battery life individually (40 hours total with the wireless charging case) and can pair simultaneously with two devices.
