Alibaba Launches QoderWake 1.0 Enterprise Platform for AI Digital Employees

Alibaba officially released QoderWake 1.0, an enterprise platform that enables organizations to generate and deploy persistent AI digital employees from simple natural language job descriptions. During its early adoption phase over the past three months, nearly 100,000 digital employees were deployed to execute approximately 2 million real-world workplace tasks. This launch represents a shift from conversational chatbot assistants to persistent AI agents that continuously accumulate enterprise context and work autonomously alongside human employees. By integrating directly into major enterprise messaging apps like DingTalk, Feishu, and Enterprise WeChat, QoderWake significantly lowers the friction of adopting AI automation in daily workplace operations. QoderWake includes 10 pre-tuned job presets—such as software developer, data analyst, content operator, and UI designer—while allowing companies to define custom rules, workflows, and strict operational boundaries. To ensure enterprise security, the system automatically blocks high-risk actions and requires human authorization whenever predefined risk rules are triggered.
