Alibaba Launches Public Beta of 'Qwen Office' Enterprise AI Agent
Alibaba has launched the public beta of "Qwen Office," an enterprise-grade AI Agent product that integrates its latest flagship model, Qwen3.8. The product consolidates three existing tools—QoderWork, MuleRun, and Wukong—to support desktop, cloud, and collaborative workflows. This release marks a significant step in Alibaba's enterprise AI strategy, offering a unified agentic platform that can automate complex workflows across local and cloud environments. By integrating with DingTalk, it aims to directly compete in the collaborative enterprise software market. Qwen Office is available via web and a standalone PC client, with DingTalk integration for PC and mobile coming soon. Pricing ranges from a free tier to personal paid plans (starting at 78 RMB/month) and enterprise plans (starting at 198 RMB/month per seat).
## BACKGROUND
AI Agents are software entities capable of autonomously planning, executing tasks, and interacting with local files or applications rather than just generating text. QoderWork and MuleRun, which are integrated into Qwen Office, were previously independent tools designed for local desktop automation and context-aware workflow execution respectively.
