Alibaba Cloud to Raise Minimum Threshold for Intelligent Outbound Call Agent Packages

Alibaba Cloud announced that starting July 30, 2026, the minimum purchase and renewal threshold for its Intelligent Outbound Call Agent (AgentOne) will be raised to 100,000 minutes. The previously available 5,000 and 10,000-minute packages will be discontinued for new purchases and renewals. This pricing adjustment increases the entry barrier for smaller businesses using Alibaba Cloud's AI agent services, shifting the focus toward larger enterprise clients with higher volume needs. It reflects a strategic consolidation of service tiers to target high-value customers in the cloud-based AI agent market. Existing users with active 5,000 or 10,000-minute packages purchased before the July 30, 2026 deadline can continue using them until they expire. Users requiring assistance with transitioning to the new specifications are advised to contact their account managers.
