Alibaba Cloud to Commercialize Container Service Agent Starting September 3
Alibaba Cloud announced that its Container Service Agent will introduce new features like a skill center and IM channels, and transition to a paid commercial model on September 3. Features including dialogue, autonomous O&M, and scheduled tasks will be billed using a credit-based system. This move marks the transition of Alibaba Cloud's AI-driven container management tools from free trials to commercial monetization, reflecting the growing trend of charging for AI agent capabilities in cloud infrastructure. The service will support both pay-as-you-go and prepaid resource packages, with a base price of 0.05 RMB per credit. Existing user settings and historical task records will not be affected by this transition.
