Agibot Tops World Humanoid Robot Games; 2,500-Hour Dataset Released
The 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games concluded in Beijing, with Shanghai-based Agibot (Zhiyuan Robotics) topping the medal charts with 18 gold, 16 silver, and 12 bronze medals. Additionally, the event's organizing committee released a free, open-source dataset containing over 2,500 hours of real-world humanoid robot operations. The massive performance improvements in athletic events showcase rapid advancements in robot hardware and control algorithms. Furthermore, the release of a 2,500-hour dataset covering diverse scenarios and failure cases provides crucial training data for the global embodied AI and robotics research community. Agibot competed using mass-produced models like the Expedition A3, Lingxi X2, and Jingling G2, winning gold in dexterity, manipulation, and athletic tracks. The released dataset covers 12 application scenarios, including industrial, domestic, and rescue environments, capturing over 10,000 fine-grained tasks.
