Afari Smart Driving ASD Installations Exceed 530,000 Across 19 Vehicle Models
Afari Technology announced that its Afari Smart Driving (ASD) system has surpassed 530,000 cumulative installations across 19 vehicle models, including Zeekr, Lynk & Co, and smart. The company also previewed ASD 4.1, which will feature physical AI models and cockpit-driving integration, with plans to launch ASD 5.0 by the end of 2026. The rapid adoption of ASD highlights the accelerating commercialization of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) in China's EV market. The upcoming integration of physical AI and cockpit-driving systems represents a shift toward more cognitive, human-centric autonomous driving experiences. ASD 4.0 achieved a high driver assistance activation rate of 93.8%, transitioning from version 3.0 in just three months. The upcoming ASD 4.1 aims to achieve zero-breakpoint door-to-door (D2D) navigation and enable direct voice control over vehicle driving functions.
